Greater Hall Chamber to Celebrate Small Business Week

Staff Report From Gainesville CEO

Monday, May 6th, 2019

For over 50 years, National Small Business Week has recognized the contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small businesses. More than half of Americans either own or work for a small business, and they create about two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year. Greater Hall Chamber membership is comprised of some 90% small businesses and seeks to provide resources and programs to grow business and create jobs.

In 2017, the Chamber’s CERTIFIED Small Business Partner program was implemented and 25 businesses were certified. In 2018, 23 businesses joined the group. Businesses can become part of the initiative by simply attending six (6) Chamber Small Business Seminars in a year. Seminars are sponsored by WSI Digital Rainmakers, Halski Systems, AccessWDUN, Signs by Tomorrow and Caldwell Electrical Contractors.
