Producers of the 8th annual Georgia Clean Energy Roadshow series hosted by Georgia Public Service Commissioner Tim Echols announced today that they will be adding the Technology Association of Georgia’s State of the Industry Technology Update to their multi-city event series on transportation, alternative fuels and renewable energy. The Roadshow will visit Columbus on June 6, Savannah on June 8, Gwinnett County on July 17 and Atlanta on July 24. Each stop will begin with a showcase of vehicles followed by a three hour seminar. Early registration is free and available at www.cleanenergyroadshow.com.

During the event, Larry Williams, President of TAG will present the TAG State of the Industry: Technology in Georgia Report; an essential tool for Georgia's many technology stakeholders. He will then lead a fireside chat with Jen Bonnett who is the incoming Executive Director, Creative Coast and Vice-President, Innovation & Entrepreneurship for the Savannah Economic Development Authority. In addition to its far-reaching uses for economic growth, the update serves as a repository of facts, statistics, trends and other insights into the Georgia Technology Industry, a guide for companies considering headquarter relocation to Georgia, a catalyst of important local industry information for venture capital firms and other investors, and a resource for large and small technology business owners and decision makers.

As gasoline prices are on the rise again, this year’s timely Clean Energy Roadshow will feature the latest in resilience and sustainability options for fleet and transit operators alongside panels of speakers from Georgia Power, Liberty Utilities, Natural Gas Association of Georgia, Atlanta Gas Light, Blue Bird Bus and Nissan.. Vehicles including the Ford F150 Natural Gas Vehicle, extended range 2018 Nissan LEAF, dual-fuel propane Law Enforcement Vehicles and Neighborhood Electric Vehicles will join the early morning outdoor technology showcase along with solar and renewable energy displays for business and governments.
