The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance produces events in Georgia to help support manufacturers in the state. Their March calendar includes events from Atlanta, to LaGrange, to Macon to Savannah and includes plant tours, educational sessions and networking events to help the manufacturing community learn best business practices and see world class manufacturing in action. GMA Networking Events • March 1 & 5 • Alpharetta, Cobb & Gwinnett
These monthly sessions help GMA service providers and manufacturers connect and expand their referral network. Stay up-to-date with what is happening in the Manufacturing Community and network with other industry professionals.     

Sales Navigator Lunch & Learn • March 7 • Peachtree Corners
Led by Todd McCarty, who has over 25 years of marketing and sales experience working for some of Atlanta’s largest companies like BellSouth, Cox Enterprises and NCR. This hands-on workshop will teach you how to leverage your LinkedIn Sales Navigator account to drive leads and sales. LinkedIn is the perfect place for sales and marketing to align with customers, prospects and content. You will leave with a 10-step checklist of activities to help you use LinkedIn Sales Navigator and some other automated tools to drive leads and appointments.

Mando America Plant Tour • March 19 • Hogansville
Mando manufacturers world-class brake systems for domestic and global automobile manufacturers such as BMW, Chrysler, FIAT, Ford, GM, KIA, and Volkswagon. Tour attendees will see the cutting edge technology and high-end manufacturing processes that are used to produce Caliper and Automatic brake systems at their 445,000 sq. ft. facility.

Lummus Corporation Plant Tour • March 21 • Savannah
Lummus Corporation is the world's leading full-line supplier of machinery and replacement parts for the cotton ginning industry. They also manufacture and sell a line of machinery and parts for the synthetic fiber industry. These products help processors around the world clean, size, separate and recover a variety of products including cottonseed, sunflower seeds, peanuts, and other oilseeds. They provide design, installation, field and technical service support for customers in the USA and throughout the world.

KaMin Plant & Quarry Tour • March 22 • Macon
KaMin, LLC is a global leader in kaolin processing and has immense reserves of premium fine and ultrafine kaolin in Georgia and Brazil. They have pioneered unique processing methods and their fine particle clays are used in industrial architectural applications such as paint, plastics, rubber, adhesives, and inks and to coat premier paper lines that are used in posters, magazines and illustrated books. Attendees will have a behind scenes tour of their plant and processes, pilot testing facilities, and Research & Development labs and quarry.
