Tuesday, May 12th, 2020

On Saturday, conservative businesswoman and political outsider Kelly Loeffler delivered personal protective equipment (PPE) to frontline workers at Northeast Georgia Medical Center fighting to contain the COVID-19 outbreak around Gainesville. Sen. Loeffler also met with several hospital administrators, including: Emergency Preparedness Manager Matthew Crumpton, Chief of Emergency Medicine Dr. Mohak Dave, Director of Behavioral Health Services Kevin Lloyd, and several members of the Georgia National Guard.

“While so many communities in our state are beginning to recover from the effects of coronavirus, it’s clear that Hall County – and the many agricultural communities within it – are struggling,” said Senator Loeffler. “Supplying doctors and nurses like those at Northeast Georgia Medical Center with much-needed PPE is a critical step to containing this outbreak. I will continue delivering relief and assistance to North Georgia’s health care facilities, families, and businesses as we work to ensure recovery reaches every corner of our state.”
