Atlanta-based real estate investment and development firm Branch Properties announced today that it has acquired the land for Braselton Village, an upcoming Publix Super Markets-anchored shopping center in Braselton, Georgia. The 70,987-square-foot center, which is set to break ground this summer, is slated for completion in Q2 2025.

The grocery-anchored development will be located at the intersection of Old Winder Hwy (SR-211) and the recently constructed Braselton Village Parkway where a new traffic signal is slated for installation. Braselton Village will include a 48,387-square-foot Publix Super Market and 22,600 square feet of inline retail space for restaurants, service providers and retailers. The property will also include five out parcels ranging in size from one acre to just under two acres. Publix Super Markets will be relocating from the adjacent shopping center, Vineyards at Chateau Elan.

“The town of Braselton has proven to be a well-positioned market for retail growth,” said Jesse Shannon, President & CIO at Branch. “Braselton Village will curate a selection of top-tier, essential shopping and dining for the area’s increasing population. We look forward to making future milestone announcements as construction begins.”

Braselton Village is located across from the local wine resort and tourist destination, Chateau Elan, which draws 400,000 visitors annually. The development will cater to Braselton’s rising population, which is expected to grow 9.5% over the next five years according to the U.S. Census Bureau. In addition to surrounding residential construction, nearby North Georgia Medical Center is currently undergoing a 927,000-square-foot, $700 million expansion expected to open in Summer 2025.

In addition to Braselton Village, Branch is also developing five other Publix-anchored shopping centers across the Southeast including Triple Crown Shopping Center in Richwood, Kentucky (Northern KY/Cincinnati suburb), One Nexton in Summerville, South Carolina (Charleston suburb), Limestone Marketplace in Gainesville, Georgia and recently completed Summerhill Station in Atlanta, Georgia.
