FinTech South, the Southeast’s largest event dedicated to financial innovation, announces it’s now accepting applications for the TAG FinTech Innovation Award. The annual program recognizes Georgia’s best early-stage companies by showcasing them at the region’s premier FinTech startup competition. The winner will take home one of the nation’s biggest prize packages, a $50,000 cash award and acceptance into the ATDC Accelerate program for 1-year.
 
Held in part of the FinTech South conference, the Innovation Award Challenge is open to early stage companies based in Georgia, or committed to locating their headquarters here. To qualify, eligible FinTech Startups must first apply and be accepted into the Innovation Award’s Education and Mentoring program. Eight to 10 startups will be selected to participate, which offers relevant educational sessions, mentoring from industry veterans, as well as access to a network of industry leaders based in Georgia. The program concludes with a “pitch night,” where a panel of judges will select three finalists to present at the TAG FinTech Innovation Award Challenge at FinTech South on May 7, 2018 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
