Matthew Krull, Board of Education, 13th Congressional District
Krull is the solicitor general of Douglas County. He sits on the boards of directors for SHARE House Douglas and Keep Douglas County Beautiful. Krull was named the 2015 Prosecutor of the Year by the Georgia chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving and was named the 2017 Thompson-Jones Faculty Member of the year by the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University and a law degree from the Cooley Law School at Western Michigan University. Krull and his wife, Katherine, have one child and reside in Douglasville.

Sam Heaton, Board of Public Safety
Heaton is the director of the Cobb County Department of Public Safety. He is a member of the Georgia Associations of Fire Chiefs, the Georgia State Firefighters Association, the International Association of Fire Chiefs and the International Association of Chiefs of Police. Heaton sits on the WellStar Kennestone Regional Board. He is a graduate of the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Regional Leadership Institute. Heaton earned an associate degree in Fire Science and a bachelor’s degree in Public Safety Administration. He and his wife, Bonnie, have three children and two grandchildren. They live in Marietta.

Susan Chapman, Georgia Board of Examiners of Licensed Dieticians (reappointment)
Chapman is the clinical manager of nutrition services at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. She is a registered and licensed dietitian with more than 35 years of experience in clinical nutrition. Chapman is a member of the Georgia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in nutrition from Texas Woman’s University. Chapman and her husband, Joseph, have two children and reside in Scottdale.

Linette Dodson, Ph.D., Georgia Board of Examiners of Licensed Dieticians (reappointment)
Dodson is the director of school food and nutrition at Carrollton City Schools. She sits on the executive board of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics School Nutrition Services Dietetic Practice Group. Dodson was named the 2013 “Director of the Year” by the Georgia School Nutrition Association and under her leadership, the Carrollton City School System school nutrition program received the 2018 Nexus Platinum Elite Award from the Georgia Department of Education. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and Foodservice Management and a doctoral degree in Foodservice and Hospitality Management from Iowa State University, as well as a master’s degree in Human Environmental Sciences from the University of Alabama. Dodson and her husband, Randal, have three children and live in Carrollton.

Anita Nucci, Ph.D., Georgia Board of Examiners of Licensed Dieticians (reappointment)
Nucci is an associate professor and the graduate program director of the Department of Nutrition at Georgia State University. Her primary areas of research include Type 1 diabetes and pediatric intestinal failure. Nucci is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Georgia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from Pennsylvania State University, a master’s degree in Public Health and a doctoral degree in Epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh. Nucci and her husband, Christoper, reside in Roswell.

Johnny Vines, Georgia Circuit Public Defenders Supervisory Panel
Vines is a private practice attorney. He served in the United States Marine Corps and obtained the rank of sergeant. Vines sits on the Candler County School District Board of Education. He is the vice chairman of the Candler County Republican Party and a member-at-large of the 12th District Republican Party Executive Board. After an honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, Vines earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and a law degree from the Cooley Law School at Western Michigan University. He and his wife, Laura, have one child and live in Metter.

Presiding Judge Anne Elizabeth Barnes, Georgia Commission on Child Support
Barnes is serving a fourth term on the Georgia Court of Appeals. She sits on the boards of the Georgia Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children and the National Courts and Sciences Institute. Barnes also sits on the advisory board of the Truancy Intervention Project. She received the 2012 Honorable Romae Turner Powell Judicial Service Award from the Atlanta Bar Association. Barnes earned a bachelor's degree from Georgia State University, a law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law and Master of Laws degree in the Judicial Process from the University of Virginia. She and her husband, Tom, reside in Atlanta.
