10th Georgia Tech Tour Ends After 650 Miles
Wednesday, June 27th, 2018
President G.P. "Bud" Peterson and the Georgia Tour contingent is back on campus Friday morning following a successful four-day summer tour. The annual event began Monday in Hawkinsville and wrapped up Thursday with stops in Toccoa and Gainesville.
Along the way, the team traveled 650 miles through 27 counties and hosted 30 events. In 10 years, the tour has covered nearly 7,500 miles. That's roughly the same as making a roundtrip drive between Atlanta and Anchorage, Alaska.
