Metro Atlanta-based InsuranceHub today announced the promotion of industry veteran, Ed Hemmer to the role of Associate Vice President in charge of the tech-driven insurance agency’s commercial transportation division. With an ever-expanding need for affordable insurance from the tow truck and trucking trade in recent years, the leadership team at InsuranceHub launched the division in October 2017 to be solely devoted to the provision of commercial transportation insurance and advisement. Since its launch, InsuranceHub’s newest division has been well-received by both existing and new clients – prompting the need for dedicated leadership and a specialized staff.

The team that Hemmer will soon oversee consists of seven commercial producers, who develop relationships with potential clients, and four account managers, who provide customer service to existing clients. By offering their expertise in the tow truck and truck insurance fields, the seven producers will advise clients on coverage options and pricing. The service team will be there to assist with any insurance needs or changes that businesses run into – including adding trucks to a policy, adding or removing drivers, and more. As with all divisions at InsuranceHub, the transportation division is focused on taking the stress out of insurance while being there for their clients every step of the way by providing stellar customer service.
