FedEx Ground, the ground delivery subsidiary of FedEx Corp., will host a grand opening ceremony to celebrate the opening of a new distribution center in Braselton.

FedEx Ground Details:       

• FedEx Ground opened a new 500,000 square-foot distribution center in Braselton.

• The new FedEx Ground facility is part of the company’s network expansion plan in which 17 major hubs have been added and 500 other facilities have expanded or relocated since 2005.

• The facility opened with more than 350 employees and we will add positions as demand for service grows.

• The daily volume of packages that FedEx Ground handles has more than doubled in the past 10 years.
