Senate President Pro Tempore Butch Miller (R – Gainesville) was recently named one of Georgia Trend magazine’s 100 Most Influential Georgians of 2019. Georgia Trend highlighted Sen. Miller’s years of experience and leadership in the Georgia Senate.

“To be selected as one of 100 individuals in a state of more than 10 million people is an overwhelming acknowledgment,” said Sen. Miller. “I am honored by this distinction and am reminded of how important our work is at the Capitol and across this great state. I take pride in knowing that the hard-working citizens of Georgia look to the General Assembly to lead the state on vital issues. Our work in the legislature is just getting started and I am confident that Georgia will continue to flourish, remaining a state we are proud to call home.”

According to Georgia Trend, the individuals included on the roster are “people making an impact on the lives and livelihoods of all Georgians”.
