Boyd Collar Nolen Tuggle & Roddenbery shareholder Tina Roddenbery has been named president of the Georgia chapter of American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). Roddenbery’s primary goal in this position is to increase the number of Fellows in the Georgia chapter, specifically targeting a new generation of leaders in family law, to continue a strong Georgia representation within the National Academy.
 
Founded in 1962, AAML serves “To provide leadership that promotes the highest degree of professionalism and excellence in the practice of family law.” There are currently more than 1,650 Fellows in 50 states. AAML Fellows are highly skilled negotiators and litigators who represent individuals in all facets of family law including divorce, annulment, prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements, marital settlement agreements, child custody and visitation, business valuations, property valuations and division, alimony, child support and other family law issues.
 
“The Georgia chapter of American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers has a reputation for being a strong, talented and involved chapter with the national organization. Before being named president, Roddenbery was the Georgia chapter’s president-elect for two years. Prior to that, she served two-year terms as the chapter’s treasurer and secretary.
 
Roddenbery has more than 30 years of family law experience, including divorce, custody, support modification, legitimation, paternity and contempt, and is one of only a handful of National Board of Trial Advocacy board certified family law attorneys in the state of Georgia.
 
Roddenbery earned both her undergraduate and her law degrees from the University of Georgia.
