Governor Brian P. Kemp joined leaders across the country in celebrating School Choice Week in Georgia.

“From the first day of my administration, I have been committed to ensuring Georgia's children have every opportunity to succeed in their education,” said Governor Kemp. “During my second State of the State Address, I emphasized that we must trust parents to make decisions in the best interests of their children. School choice empowers families to tailor a child's learning experience to meet their unique needs and improves educational outcomes in classrooms across the state.

"In recognition of that, I am proud to proclaim January 27 - 31, 2020, as Georgia School Choice Week. By increasing access to educational opportunity, we can invest in future generations and ensure that Georgia's best days are ahead.”
