‘We Felt Ready.’ Some Georgians Welcome Rollback of Virus Restrictions

The leaders of rural Monroe County were the first to publicly urge Gov. Brian Kemp to lift coronavirus restrictions to boost the economy. They’ll get their wish Friday when a wave of businesses shuttered during the crackdown begin to reopen.
