Georgia Power employees from Gainesville are continuing their vital support of Hall-Dawson Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) with an end of year donation.

Members from the Citizens of Georgia Power employee volunteer chapter including Sherry Lizotte and Hannah Warner were able to meet with staff and tour the Clothing and Toy Center, which makes available donated clothing, toys and items to support children and families. CASA serves the community’s most vulnerable children, and support from groups including Citizens of Georgia Power to make their work possible.

With more than 40 chapters statewide, Citizens of Georgia Power - the employee volunteer arm of the company – gives back to their local communities through in-person and virtual volunteer projects, fundraisers, and donations. In 2020, Citizens’ members logged more than 55,000 hours of service equal to $1.5 million.
