NGMC Braselton and Lumpkin Earn National Awards in Emergency Care
Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024
Patients in Braselton and Dahlonega can trust they’re receiving the best, most comprehensive care at Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) when they need it most – in an emergency. NGMC Braselton and NGMC Lumpkin were recently awarded the 2024 Lantern Award by the Emergency Nurses Association. Northeast Georgia Health System is the first system in Georgia to have four campuses recognized with the award after NGMC Gainesville and NGMC Barrow received the award in 2023.
The Lantern Award recognizes emergency departments that demonstrate exceptional and innovative performance in leadership, practice, education, advocacy and research. When NGMC Gainesville and NGMC Barrow won the award last year, they were among the first three hospitals in Georgia to do so.
